The Summer Associate Intern will work closely with attorneys and legal staff to support ongoing personal injury cases. The internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain practical legal experience, develop research and writing skills, and contribute to meaningful work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Conduct legal research on personal injury statutes, case law, and regulations.
• Draft motions, pleadings, and correspondence under the supervision of attorneys.
• Assist in preparing case files, including organizing documents and exhibits for depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Review and summarize medical records, police reports, and other case-related documents.
• Participate in client interviews, case evaluations, and settlement discussions.
• Observe court proceedings, depositions, and mediations when appropriate.
• Collaborate with attorneys on discovery, including drafting interrogatories and document requests.
• Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the legal team.

Qualifications:

• Current enrollment in an accredited law school. 2L preferred.
• Strong academic credentials and demonstrated interest in personal injury law.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Professional demeanor and ability to maintain client confidentiality.
• Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and Microsoft Office Suite.
